Our Strategy

Zetar’s strategy is to develop and grow a snack foods and confectionery group, with a reputation for quality and product innovation.

Zetar’s original aim remains intact today - that is, to achieve critical mass through deployment of a “buy and build” strategy in order to create a Group of confectionery and snack foods (or related) businesses, based primarily in the UK with operations in Continental Europe at an appropriate point in time.

We aim to deliver value to our shareholders through:

  1. Organic growth fuelled by the following growth drivers:

    • Product innovation - leading to superior volume-led sales growth
    • Flexible manufacturing - facilitating supply of differentiated premium or economy products
    • Everyday – balance strong seasonal presence with more everyday products
    • Branding – more focus on own brands and also extend licensing portfolio (grocery food brands/brands for grown-ups)
       
  2. Acquisition led growth if suitable opportunities arise:

    • in the UK
    • in Europe

We will seek companies that, amongst other considerations, focus on healthier options, quality products, innovation and service at competitive prices.

We will enhance the value of the Group by sharing resources and skills. Our mission is to achieve above sector average annual increases in earnings per share.
